Training

Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart as working for the Lord, not for man…” Colossians 3:23

 | Art Institute of Permanent Cosmetics

Become an Artisan of your work, Not just a technician

Permanent Make-Up and Paramedical Tattooing are highly professional and rewarding careers. The impact that you can make in someone’s life is extremely meaningful and gratifying. The earning potential is well into the six-figure annual income for those committed to their craft. Choose a career you are passionate about, and the money will follow.

• We are in the business of transforming self-image, by way of the art of altering faces. There is a high-degree of trust that is needed for a potential client to become a loyal client. As a result, it requires proper linear training. It begins with the client consult, and capturing the client’s personal preference, style and comfortability. The art is translating your client’s personal make-up theory, and recreating it on the canvas of their face for their betterment.

• It is a serious profession to change someone’s look permanently. In order for this to be a successful procedure, it requires learning proper clinical technique. The application of the accurate procedural process is what you will learn in lecture through curriculum, practice on skins and finally on live models.

• You will draw confidence through learning from Master Technician, Tish O’Brien. Tish has encountered every situation imaginable within her over 10,000 procedures and 20 + years of experience.

• As a result, this is why Tish conducts classes that are small in size which allows her to give a great deal of personal attention to each student. Practical application with an intimate one-on-one training and continued support after class with the actual instructor, is the key differentiator of the Art Institute’s teaching style.

As a student many years ago and then an instructor for a school, I have personally experienced students’ frustration in large student to teacher ratios with minimal hands on opportunity . Learning a new skill became frustrating and took the joy out of learning a new career with a high investment. I committed my educational format to be a completely different environment. I had my Jerry McGuire personal epiphany, “less students, more personal attention. Students would have me personally throughout the entire training.”

My focus for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025, is to conduct weekend seminars for seasoned technicians. The two-full days of instructional education will be comprised of the most advanced techniques that I have learned in my over 23 year career. These master techniques and education will catapult technicians young in their career to become masters of their trade. Courses will be limited to 12 students maximum, and taught in collaborative atmosphere of trust and safety. My focus is not to make income from large classrooms in which I financially benefit and the student is left insecure and lacking after the course. My goal is to guide my students into a lasting career they love with support.

What is the impact? Clients for life. Simply that. Clients will trust you for procedure after procedure. Clients will confidently trust and refer you to their circle of family, friends, co-workers and strangers
who desire the same look. Word of mouth is the most credentialed way to build one’s business. This is a result of a well-trained and passionate technician. Remember, it is high quality over quantity that retains clients.

THIS IS HOW YOU BUILD A SUCCESSFUL
AND ECONOMY PROOF BUSINESS.
